Simple S'Mores Snack Mix

A simple snack mix that tastes like campfire smores that people love to eat. Perfect recipe for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate Chex Cereal- 4 cups.
  • Golden Graham Cereal- 4 cups.
  • Mini Marshmallows- 5 ounces.
  • Chocolate Chips- 1 cup.

Instructions

  • Step 1. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Set this aside. Then place the cereal in a large mixing bowl. Add the marshmallows and then also toss the ingredients. If you are adding nuts, pretzels or other optional ingredients you can add them in this step and toss. Transfer the ingredients from the bowl to the prepped baking sheet, spreading the ingredients out evenly.
  • Step 2. In a microwavable bowl, melt the chocolate. You want a 'warm melted' chocolate so use 50% power and stop every 30 seconds to stir the chocolate. It should take about a minute to minute and a half to fully melt the chocolate to a warm state.
  • Step 3. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the ingredients that are on the lined baking sheet. You can use a spoon to help you do this for consistency. Then allow the mix to cool until set. This can take 30 minutes in the refrigerator or an hour at room temperature.
