  • What to research in selecting plants for your butterfly garden. Take into consideration what kind of butterflies are more common in your area. Also take into consideration the kind of plants that are native to your location.
  • Plant a variety of host plants so butterflies will lay their eggs and go through the cycle of life in your garden.
  • Keep the butterfly garden free from pesticides of any kind.
  • Take pictures and keep a log taking notes about your garden.
