Ingredients

  • 1 Refrigerated pizza dough - see post for details
  • 3 cups Hot Water
  • ½ cup Butter
  • ½ cup Cinnamon Sugar

Instructions

  • Once the dough is rolled into ropes, cut the dough ropes so that each bite is 1 ¼" long. You can do this beside a ruler or something that is about that size for measuring.
Prepare the bath by heating the water and whisking the baking soda into it until fully dissolved. Also, line two rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper that is lightly sprayed with nonstick. This is also a good time to preheat your oven to 425.
  • Now, use a slotted spoon to dip the bites in groups of three into the water mixture. Quickly lift the dipped bites out of the water and allow the water to drip off back into the bowl before placing the bites onto the prepared baking sheets.
  • Once all of the bites are one the baking sheets, with space between each bite, you can place the bites into the preheated oven.Bake for 8-12 minutes or until the bites are golden (or your favorite pretzel shade) of brown.
  • Place the cinnamon and sugar into a large bowl, butter the bites. and toss then toss the bites in the cinnamon sugar.
