Ingredients

Instructions

  • Prep a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper that is also sprayed with nonstick spray.
In a large microwave safe bowl, melt the the marshmallows with the butter, stopping to stir every 30 seconds to prevent the marshmallows from sticking to the bowl.
  • When the marshmallows and butter have melted together you can fully blend in the electric blue gel color (2-3 drops should do it).
Add the cereal to the bowl, half of the cereal at a time, and fully incorporate it into the melted marshmallow mixture.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepped baking sheet, evenly distributing the ingredients.
Allow this to sit for 15 minutes.
  • Once the ingredients in the prepped baking sheet have somewhat set, use the cookie cutter to cut out the paws.
It is a good idea to have a second baking sheet, that can fit into a freezer, also lined with parchment paper available to place the cut paws onto.
  • Melt the white candy melts according to the directions. I place mine in a microwave safe bowl and microwave, stopping every 30 seconds to stir until melted.
Dip one end of a stick or straw into the melted white candy and the insert it into the bottom of one of the paws. Repeat this process until all of the paws have a stick or straw in them.
Then transfer the remaining melted candy melts to a piping bag to decorate the paws with paw pads.
  • Place the decorated paws with straws or sticks into the freezer to set. This should take about 10-15 minutes. Then carefully remove the paw pops from the parchment paper to serve.
