    Instructions

    • Prepare the crusts as indicated . Allow the crusts to cool.
    • Heat one cup of the milk to about 120 using a microwave or on the stove. The milk will be warm to touch but, not hot.
      While the milk is heating, place the pudding mix and the remaining milk in a mixing bowl.
    • Add the chopped chocolate to the warm milk and whisk until fully combined. Then transfer it to the mixing bowl with the other ingredients. Whisk to combine for a minute. Then allow this to sit for five minutes to thicken.
    • Once the mixture has thickened use a ladle or large spoon to evenly transfer the mixture to the crusts. Then place them into the freezer to set .
    • When you are ready to serve the pies, remove the crusts from the freezer.
      To make the topping layer, fit a stand mixer with a whisk attachment. Beat the heavy whipping cream with the vanilla on medium until stiff peaks form.
      Top each pie with about a tablespoon of whipped topping.
      Then serve with chocolate chips and cocoa powder or as desired.
