Ingredients

  • ½ cup Butter
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • ¼ oz Yeast
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 4 ½ cup Flour
  • ¼ cup Heavy Cream

For the center filling- Softened butter (⅓ cup), brown sugar (1 cup) and ground cinnamon (2 tbsp).

For the frosting, softened butter (½ cup), softened cream cheese (¼ cup), vanilla extract (½ tsp), and powdered sugar 1 ½ cups.

      Instructions

      • Prepare your baking dish by greasing it well. Also, prepare a clean workspace to be used for kneading the bread. You can dust the work surface with flour.
Also, grease a bowl that can be used for the dough to rise in.
      • Start by dissolving the yeast in the warm milk, use a fork to gently stir this.
      • Meanwhile, in a stand mixer, beat together the sugar and butter until almost combined. Scape down the bowl and then add the yeast and milk mixture along with the flour and the eggs.
Beat this on medium until smooth (one and a half to two minutes).
      • Transfer the dough on to your prepared work surface and knead until smooth (about five to six minutes).
Place the dough into the greased bowl, roll the dough over, and then cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel or wrap.Allow the dough to double in size (about an hour).
      • Place a large piece of parchment paper on your clean workspace and then dust the paper with flour.
Roll the first half of dough out to a 9X12" rectangle (12"side facing you).
      • In a medium bowl, combine together the filling ingredients. Then brush the filling over the rectangle to about ½" of the edges. Roll the dough towards you using the 12" side opposite from you.
      • Use your floss or twine to cut the roll into eight slices.Place the sliced pieces into the prepared baking dish and repeat this process with the remaining dough.
      • Cover the baking dish with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap. Let the rolls rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about an hour).
      • Preheat your oven to 350.Bake the rolls until they turn golden brown (20-25 minutes).
Allow the rolls to cool before combining the frosting ingredients and frosting the buns.
