Instructions

Step One make the krispie treats.

  • Prepare a 13x9" baking dish- greasing works well.
In a large pot on medium heat, melt the butter.
Once the butter has melted, you can stir in the marshmallows so that they can melt into the butter.
When the mixture is creamy, you can remove the pot from the stove and carefully stir in the rice cereal.
Transfer the mixture to your prepared baking dish and press it into place as needed.
Allow the mixture to set while you continue on with the next step.

Prepare the decorations.

  • Preparing the decorations means melting the almond bark and adding the pastel coloring.
Using a microwave safe bowl, melt four cubes of almond bark, stopping to stir every 30 seconds until melted.
Once the almond bark has fully melted, divide it into three smaller bowls.
Then add a few drops (or as needed) of the food color to each of the bowls so that you have three Unicorn colors (one in each of the bowls.

Decorate the Food

  • For the cookies, one at a time, dip each cookie halfway into the melted bark and then place it on to a sheet of parchment or wax paper.
Then sprinkle the Unicorn sprinkles over each of the cookies and allow the ingredients to set
  • For the popcorn, first line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Then, pour the popcorn over the parchment paper, spreading it out as needed.
Drizzle the remaining melted bark over the popcorn and then cover with the sprinkles.
Once the popcorn has cooled and set, you can break up any chunks as needed.
  • For the krispie treats.
Once the treats have set, you can cut them into servings.
Place each of the treats on a rimmed baking sheet that you have lined with parchment paper.
Repeat the method above to melt four more cubes of the almond bark.
Next, dip a popsicle stick into the melted bark about a half inch deep before inserting the chocolate tip into the treats.
Once the sticks have set in each of the treats, dip each of the treats halfway into the melted bark and then place it onto the parchment paper lined baking sheet.
You can use the remaining colored melted bark to drizzle over the dipped treats.  Apply sprinkles to treats before the drizzle sets.
