  • Preheat the oven to 350.Prep a baking dish well for nonstick, greasing the sides and bottom.
    Start by sautéing the onion and celery. On low to medium heat, melt the butter in a small skillet. Once melted stir in the onion and celery. Stir and cook until soft, two to three minutes. Then remove the skillet from the heat and allow the ingredients to cool.
    Crumble the cornbread in a large mixing bowl. The stir in the sautéed ingredients along with the chicken broth, buttermilk, and seasonings.
  • Transfer the ingredients to the prepped baking dish. Note that the mixture should not be runny or loose. It should be a little thick instead.
    Bake for 20-25 mins until the top begins to turn golden brown. Serve with or without gravy and enjoy!
