Make the cupcakes as indicated on the packaging. Allow the cupcakes to fully cool.Scoop out a center piece of each cupcake. To do so you can use the end of a wooden spoon, apple corer, or similar sized item. To fill the cupcakes, use a zip top bag. Simply fill the bag with about a half cup of the jam. Cut a corner, about ⅓-½", off of the bag. Then squeeze the jam through the hole in the bag and into the cupcake hole.
You can use a piping bag to top the cupcakes with frosting. Alternatively, you can plug the hole you created in the cupcake with a piece of the cupcake that you scooped out before frosting carefully by hand. Top with any sprinkles or decorations.
