Instructions

  • Start by separating the marshmallows evenly between the bowls. Add one tablespoon of butter to each of the bowls.
Heat the first bowl with the marshmallows and butter in the microwave on high for 45 seconds.
Stir the mixture and microwave for another 20 seconds. Stir in one drop of gel food coloring. Then stir in the rice cereal (2 cups if you are using three colors or three cups if you are using two colors).Repeat this process until all of your bowls have been made. Then transfer the individual bowl ingredients to the prepped baking sheet. Tip: very the placement of colors to make colorful flowers.
Place another sheet of parchment paper on top and use a rolling pin or back of a large spoon to press the mixture in so that the entire baking sheet is level. Place the baking sheet into the refrigerator for 15 minutes to set..
  • Lightly spray your cookie cutter with non stick spray then press straight down into the rice cereal treats to cut out each flower.
To make the colorful chocolate drizzles on your flowers, add each color candy melts that you have chosen to individual piping bags and then melt each bag on HIGH for 30 seconds.
Flip your piping bag(s) over and then you can microwave for another 30 seconds or until smooth.
