Copycat Crumbl Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE THE ALMOND BUTTERCREAM FROSTING.Butter- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted preferred.Powdered Sugar- 2 cups.Vanilla Extract- 1 teaspoon.Almond Extract- 1 teaspoon.Milk- 2 tablespoons (whole preferred).Pin Gel Frosting.

    Instructions

    • Preheat your oven to 350 and prep two baking sheets with parchment paper.In a medium bowl, use a fork or a whisk to combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set this bowl aside.
    • In a mixer using a paddle attachment, cream together the butter, cream cheese on medium until fluffy. This can take up to six minutes to do and you may need to stop the mixer to scrape the sides of the mixing bowl.
    • Bump the mixer down to a slower speed and add the eggs, one at a time, and then the vanilla and almond extracts. Beat this until the ingredients are well incorporated.
    • Slowly add the dry ingredients from the first bowl and mix until just combined.
    • Use a large cookie scooper or ice cream scoop to scoop out each of the cookies one at a time.
      Roll the cookie dough into balls between your hands before pressing the individual dough balls to about ¾ inch thickness on to the prepared baking sheets.
    • Bake the cookies for 13-15 min until edges start to turn golden brownAllow the cookies to sit on the baking sheet for a ten minutes before transferring them to a cooking rack.
      Once the cookies have fully cooled you can frost them.
      To make the frosting, beat together the cream cheese and butter on medium until creamy.Then add the powdered sugar, extracts, and milk and beat on high for about four minutes or until creamy.
