Ingredients

  • 14.5 oz Diced Tomatoes - Drained. 1 can
  • ¾ cup Red Onion -Diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic -Freshly minced.
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper -Seeds removed and diced.
  • 14 oz Black Beans -Drained and rinsed. 1 can
  • 15.5 oz Black Eyed Peas -Drained and rinsed. 1 can
  • 15.25 oz Corn -Drained. 1 can
  • ¼ cup Cilantro -Chopped
  • 2 tsp Lime Juice
  • ½ cup Italian Dressing. -The dressing of your choice.

Instructions

  • Prepare. Prepare your ingredients as indicated. This includes draining and rinsing the beans and peas and dicing the onion and pepper.
  • Combine. Place all of the ingredients, except for the dressing, into a large bowl such as a mixing bowl,
  • Toss. Use two large spoons, or similar items, to gently toss the ingredients.
  • Dressing. Shake or mix the dressing to mix it up and then pour half of the dressing (¼ cup) over the ingredients. Toss the ingredients and then repeat the process with the remaining dressing.
  • Refrigerate. While you could serve the dip at this point, refrigerating the dip for as little as 20 minutes can help the flavors meld together
