  • Preheat your oven to 350. Prep two baking sheets with parchment paper.
    Pull the cookies apart and then scoop out the filling. Place the cookie filling into a bowl and the cookie part into a food processor.
    Process the cookies into crumbs.
  • Place the Oreo cookie crumbs in a mixing bowl. Add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the bowl and us a fork or a whisk to combine the dry ingredients together. Set this bowl aside.
  • Now, in mixing bowl on medium speed, cream together the the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add in the egg and vanilla extract.
  • For this next step, we will add the dry ingredients from the first bowl to the second bowl. Do this carefully and mix until incorporated.
    Lastly, use a cookie scoop (two inch works best) to scoop the cookies and place them onto the prepared baking sheets. Using the palms of your hands, press the cookies to about a one inch thickness.
  • Bake the cookies for 15 minutes, Then, remove the baking sheets from the oven and allow the cookies to set on them for another 15 minutes to ensure that the cookies will stay intact when we remove them from the sheets.
  • To make the cream cheese frosting, beat together the center filling with the softened cream cheese and butter until creamy. Slowly mix in the powdered sugar. Then beat the frosting on high until fluffy (about four to five minutes) .
