Instructions

  • Start by washing and drying the mold if it is new or has debris on it. Also, line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper to use as your workspace.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate following the directions on the packaging.
    Carefully drizzle the dark chocolate randomly over the inside of the molds.
  • Allow the dark chocolate to mostly harden- about five minutes at room temperature. Meanwhile, you can melt the colored wafers, following the directions on the packaging
  • Place about two tablespoons of the colored melted wafers into the bottom of the molds. Then allow it to mostly harden- about seven minutes.
  • Use the backside of a spoon to evenly disperse the somewhat melted wafers evenly over the molds.
    Allow the melted wafers to set for two minutes and repeat.
  • Transfer the molds to your refrigerator to fully set (about ten minutes).
  • Carefully peel the mold away from the hardened chocolate.</li><li> Place the hearts on to a plate with the open side of the hearts up (facing you).
  • Fill the inside with the chocolate candies. Place another plate on top of the heart (bottom side of the plate facing you), and flip the heart over keeping it between the two plates.
