Cake Mix Champagne Cupcakes

Instructions

  • Prepare. Preheat your oven to 350 and prep your cupcake pan for nonstick.
  • Mix. In a large mixing bowl, use a whisk to combine together your cake mix, champagne, oil, and eggs. Then use a cookie scoop or similar item to transfer the mixed ingredients to the cupcakes liners, filling them about ⅔ full.
  • Bake. Bake your cupcakes for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Then carefully remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them sit in the pan for five minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack to fully cool.
  • Frosting. Beat together the butter and powdered sugar until combined. Then add the remaining ingredients and beat until smooth and creamy. If you need to make ingredient adjustments for texture, do so slowly.
  • Frost. Once your cupcakes have fully cooled, you can transfer your frosting to piping bag to frost the cupcakes. A frosting knife can alternatively be used to frost your cupcakes.
