Preheat your oven to 350 and prep your Dutch oven (or baking sheet) for nonstick.
To slice the bread, cut one inch slices in a criss-cross manner. The slices should not go further than ¾ths of the way into the bread. Then use your fingers to gently pull apart and loosen up the slits so that you can fill them with the other ingredients.
In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave your seasonings, garlic, and butter for 30 seconds. Carefully stir the ingredients and repeat as needed until the butter has melted.
Use a pastry brush to to coat the bread with the melted mixture. Make sure that you also brush the melted ingredients into the cut slits in the bread.
Next, stuff the cheese into the cut slits in the bread. You may need to gently push the cheese in place, making sure to not go all the way through the bottom of the bread.
Bake the bread for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the loaf has toasted to your preferences. Let the bread cool for a few minutes before serving.
