Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Tomatoes - this is about four Roma tomatoes. The tomatoes should be diced.
  • ½ cup Onion - chopped or minced, red or white onion.
  • 1 Jalapeño - seeds and stem removed, chopped fine.
  • ¼ cup Cilantro - fresh, chopped fine.
  • 2 tbsp Lime Juice - use freshly squeezed.
  • 1 tsp Seasonings -such as salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Dice your tomatoes and onions if you have no done so. Then place them in a medium bowl.
  • Chop your jalapeno and cilantro and add them to the bowl. Use a spoon and fork (or similar items) to give the ingredients a quick toss.
  • Drizzle the lime juice on top of the ingredients and toss again.
  • Toss in the seasonings, making adjustments as needed for flavor.
  • Refrigerate the ingredients for at least 10-20 minutes before serving to allow the ingredients to meld together.
