Bake the cake in a 9x13-inch baking dish according to the directions on the packaging until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
While the cake is baking, you can prepare the pudding as directed using the cold milk. You can then refrigerate the prepared pudding until your cake has fully cooled and you are ready to use it.
Using the end of a wooden spoon or your tool of choice, poke holes, about halfway deep and evenly distributed through the baked cake. Pour the prepared pudding over the cake so that the pudding seeps into the poke holes . Lastly, sprinkle the crushed Oreo cookies over the pudding layer, spreading the cookies as evenly as possible. To make the frosting, beat the heavy whipping cream with the powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Then use a frosting spatula or similar item to top your cake with it.
You can top your cake with additional cookies and toppings, such as chocolate sauce, of choice.
