Step One: bake the cake.
Bake the cake in a 9x13-inch baking dish according to the directions on the packaging until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. While the cake is baking, you can prepare the pudding as directed using the cold milk. Then refrigerate the prepared pudding until your cake has fully cooled and you are ready to use it.
Step Two: poke the cake and fill the holes.
- When the cake is done baking you can remove it from the oven and let it cool for a five minutes in the baking dish.
