Instructions

  • Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a microwave safe cup or bowl, place your chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Then melt the ingredients, stopping to stir every 20 seconds.
  • Place the cereal into a large mixing bowl.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract to the melted ingredients and then carefully pour half of the melted ingredients over the cereal.
  • Toss the ingredients in the bowl and then repeat the process using the remaining melted ingredients.
  • Once the melted ingredients are cool to touch, you can toss in the candy. Then add the sugar and the cookie crumbs and toss until the ingredients are all coated.
  • Transfer the ingredients to the baking sheet that you prepared in the first step, evenly spreading out the ingredients.
  • Once the puppy chow has dried you can serve or transfer it to a container.
