Marshmallow Peeps and Additional Pebbles for Decorating
Instructions
Prepare a 9" round pie or similar plant for nonstick. Place parchment paper over the pan and spray that as well.
In a microwave- safe bowl, melt the butter and marshmallows, carefully stopping to stir every 45 seconds until melted. You can alternatively use the stove-top method.
Stir in the vanilla and cereal until combined. Transfer the combined ingredients to the prepared pan
Evenly spread the mixture into place in the pan, pressing it in. Allow the cake to set at room temperature (about 45 minutes to an hour)
For the frosting, beat together the butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy. Then add two to three drops of the blue coloring and mix until combined.
Use a rubber spatula to fold in the marshmallow fluff.
Use an icing spatula or piping bag to frost the cake using the marshmallow frosting.
Top the cake with the Marshmallow Peeps and extra Pebbles or decorations of choice.
