Start by preheating your oven to 350 and preparing a pie dish as needed for nonstick.
Carefully unwrap your pie crust and then place it over the pie dish. Use your hands to press the crust in place as needed. Before pre-baking the crust, place a piece of parchment paper over it and then the pie weights on top of the parchment paper. Distribute the weights as needed so that the crust is evenly covered.
Pre-bake the pie crust until it turns golden brown, about 12-15 minutes. Then take the crust out of the oven and let it cool to room temperature.
Meanwhile, while the crust is cooling, you can make the filling. In a large bowl, place your chocolate chips, caramel bits, chopped walnuts, and shredded coconut. Toss the ingredients to mix them up.
Next, pour half of the melted butter along with half of the condensed milk over the ingredients and toss again. Then pour the remaining butter and condensed milk over the ingredients and toss until the ingredients are combined .
Transfer the tossed ingredients to the prepared pie crust (with the weights and parchment removed) and evenly spread it out. Then bake the pie in the center of your oven for 15-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and set in the center.
Allow the pie to cool and set before slicing and serving.
