This recipe however, is worth the extra work as it offers so much more flavor!

We will fill the muffins with a cream cheese frosting. You can use a simple disposable piping bag to do this.

This recipe is for anyone asking is the Starbucks pumpkin muffin good.

If you were to ask me, I would say that most anything pumpkin that comes out of Starbucks is good.
There certainly is a lot of excitement every year when their pumpkin inspired menu comes out.

This pumpkin muffin has two parts.

The first part of this muffin is a basic pumpkin muffin.
For the second part, we inject some tasty frosting into that muffin.

So you may be wondering about Starbucks pumpkin cream cheese muffin ingredients.

What we do know for sure is what they tell us on their website.
These ingredients are ingredients that you may expect to see listed in a muffin recipe.

What they do not tell us is how much of each ingredient is in the muffins.

To make this version of the Pumpkin Cream cheese muffin we are using our own version of a pumpkin muffin with frosting. The taste is very similar to the original.

Step one. Prepare the Muffins. Preheat the oven to 350 and prep your muffin pans with liners or nonstick.

In a medium bowl, use a fork or a whisk to mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pumpkin pie spice. Next, in a mixing bowl, beat together the sugar, brown sugar, pumpkin puree, and butter until cream. Then beat in the vanilla and the eggs. Add the dry ingredients from the first bowl to the mixing bowl and mix until just blended, do not overmix.

Step two. Make the filling. Cream together the cream cheese, remaining vanilla extract, and remaining sugar in a new bowl.

Use a piping bag or Ziploc bag with one corner tip cut off and squeeze out even amounts of the filling into the center of each of the muffins.
It is normal for the muffins to sink when you do this.
