Yes. You can drizzle the icing over the cobbler after baking and cooling. The icing adds extra sweetness and gives the cobbler a delicious finishing touch.
    • Do I need to bake the cinnamon rolls before adding them to the cobbler?
No. This is basically a 'dump and bake' recipe. The cinnamon rolls bake directly on top of the pie filling and cook as the cobbler bakes.
    • Can I use a different pie filling?
Why not? Cherry, blueberry, peach, apple, raspberry, or mixed berry pie filling can all work well in this recipe. Just use the same volume of ingredients.

This cobbler is best served fresh and warm, but you can assemble it a few hours ahead of time and refrigerate it until ready to bake.

The cobbler may need a few extra minutes in the oven. If the tops are already browned, cover the cobbler loosely with foil and continue baking until the centers are fully cooked.
