Chocolate almond bark takes the usual chocolate bar up a notch or two by adding savory roasted almonds which perfectly complement the decadence of the chocolate.

What you need to make chocolate bark with almonds.
- Dark Chocolate. Dark Chocolate Baking Bars or Dark Chocolate Chips can be used. Break the baking bars into smaller pieces.
- Coconut Oil. Helps to smooth out the chocolate, adds flavor, and adds a bit of shine to the bars.
- Almonds. Roasted almonds were used to make my bark with. Raw almonds can be used if you prefer. You can place additional almonds on top of the setting chocolate.
- Salt. Select a flaky sea salt or coarse salt such as rock salt to help bring out the flavor of the chocolate.

How to make Chocolate Almond Bark
- Prep Time: 5 minutes .
- Servings: 16 .
- How to Serve: Break the set bark into pieces and serve.
- Notes: You will need a microwave safe bowl and rimmed baking sheet to make this recipe .
- Prepare. Prep your rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper that slightly ends off of the edges of the sheet.
- Melt. In a large microwave safe bowl, melt together the chocolate with the cocoanut oil, stopping to stir every 30 seconds, until smooth and combined.
- Combine. Once the the ingredients are are melted together, carefully stir in the toasted almonds and salt.
- Transfer. Evenly spread the combined ingredients over the prepared baking sheet, You can top the ingredients with additional almonds and salt.
- Set. Once the ingredients reach room temperature, place the baking sheet into your refrigerator to fully set.
- Break. Lastly, break the set chocolate into smaller pieces for serving and enjoy!

Tips for making the best chocolate almond bark.
A microwave is used to melt ingredients in this recipe to make the recipe easier to make. You can alternatively use a stovetop (I prefer a double boiler method for melting chocolate).
More helpful tips for you.
- Feel free to make this recipe using other kinds of nuts or seeds or a different chocolate such as semi-sweet chocolate.
- Stir in extract, such as vanilla extract, for additional flavors in this bark.
- Your bark should be fully set before breaking it up. If you are in a hurry, you can place it into your freezer after it has refrigerated for a half hour or so.
