    How to make Salted Caramel and Pretzel Bark

    Prep Time: 15 minutes, add chill time .

    How to Serve: This tasty bark can be served as is or broken up into smaller pieces and enjoyed over ice cream or with your popcorn.

    1. Prepare. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Prepare your ingredients, including removing the plastic wrap from the caramels.
    2. Chips. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with the oil, stopping to stir every 30 seconds, until melted.
    3. Pretzels. Carefully transfer about ¾ths of the melted chocolate to your prepared baking sheet and use the backside of a spoon or similar item to evenly spread the mixture out. Then press your pretzels into the chocolate.
    4. Caramel. In a clean microwave-safe bowl, melt your caramel cubes with the heavy cream, stopping to stir every 30 seconds, until melted and creamy. Then use a large spoon to carefully drop dollops of the caramel mixture over the pretzels, You can use the tip of the spoon to swirl to move the caramel around.
    5. Finish. Use a clean spoon to to drop dollops of the remaining chocolate on the caramel, swirling or moving the chocolate around as needed. Then top the bark with your salt.
    6. Set. Carefully transfer your baking sheet to your refrigerator for the bark to set. Once the bark is fully set you can break it up into pieces for serving.
