- Baking Soda. For leavening the cookies.
- Butter. Your butter should be softened to room temperature.
- Sugar. Granulated white sugar.
- Brown Sugar. Light brown sugar lightly packed.
- Vanilla Extract. For a nice balance of flavor.
- Eggs. Your eggs should be at room temperature.
- Chocolate Chips. My cookies were made with semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookies (Yields 48-50 cookies)

Step One: prepare.
Start by placing a piece of aluminum foil in the bottom of your basket. Leave enough room on the sides of the foil for the air to circulate properly. Then give the foil a quick spray of nonstick.
Step Two: make the cookie dough.
- In a medium mixing bowl, use a fork or whisk to mix together the flour and the baking soda. You can add a pinch or so of salt if desired or if you are using unsalted butter.
- Next, in a mixing bowl, beat together the sugars and the butter until creamy. You can do this step by hand or by mixer.
- Now, stir in the eggs and vanilla .
- Add the dry ingredient from the first bowl to the mixing bowl and mix until just combined.
- Lastly, use a rubber spatula to fold in the chocolate chips.
Step Three: air fry the cookies.
- Preheat your air fryer to 300° .
- Using a small cookie scoop, scoop out the cookie dough one at a time. Roll each of the cookies into an even ball and then carefully place it into the in air fryer basket, leaving room for expansion around each of the cookies. You may need to make this recipe in batches if there is not enough room.
- Air fry the cookies until they begin to turn golden brown, about six to eight minutes.
- Remove the basket from the air fryer and allow for the cookies to first cool while still in the basket before removing them.
- Transfer the cookies to a cooling rack to finish cooling.
