Have you tried my Potato Chip Candy recipe?

That recipe is for making a tasty candy using broken up potato chips.
This recipe for roasted potatoes use real potatoes that are not chips.

To make this recipe you will need Buffalo Seasoning. You can find Buffalo Seasoning here.

This is especially for anyone asking for a recipe for easy oven roasted potatoes.

You will probably like how easy it is to prep these potatoes and then place them into the oven to bake.
This is especially nice when you have limited time to prepare a nice supper.

What makes this recipe so good is that you can make the potatoes as crunchy or not crunch as you like.

Personally, I like crunchy potato chunks with a bit of meat in the middle.
By meat, I mean potato.

You may be wondering what kind of potato is best for baking.

In a recipe such as this one, I would suggest using a more firm potato yes somewhat soft.
This potato should be able to hold up to the heat from an oven yet, remain soft in the center.

White potatoes work best in this recipe.

This is because white potatoes are just right when it comes to the starch with holds a potato together.
While your grocery store may simple sell these potatoes as "white" they may also be called white rose, snowden, or even cascade (among other varieties of white).

Tips for making sheet pan potatoes.

The potatoes can easily be prepared in advance.
Simply place them in the refrigerator until you are ready to bake them!

More tips for you

  1. I like to use potatoes with the skin still on. However, I also soak and scrub them first.
  2. Soaking potatoes in cold water (10-15 minutes) after cutting them up and before baking them will help them achieve that perfect balance of a crisp outside with a meaty inside.
  3. There are so many uses for leftovers. While you can reheat them or serve them cold, they can also be added to other recipes such as cooked eggs.
  4. It is essential that you use a rimmed baking sheet to make this recipe.

Personalize oven baked potatoes.

This is a simple yet, tasty recipe just as it is.
However, you can make yours taste even better!

Try one of these ideas.

  • Stir in some bacon bits for an added crunch and flavor.
  • Add a teaspoon or so of hot sauce for an added punch.
  • Offset the strong flavors by adding a teaspoon of sugar.
  • Sprinkle cheese on top of the potatoes.
