To make this recipe you will first need to cut the chicken into small cubes. We will then saute the cubes with the oil.
Once the chicken has cooked we will add the other ingredients.
First we will add the vegetables and then we will top it with the broth. LAstly, we will add the ramen and finish cooking the meal.
Ingredients needed to make this recipe for Instant Pot Ramen with Chicken.
- Vegetable Oil. You can substitute in any neutral oil if desired.
- Chicken. The chicken should be cut into bite-sized cubes.
- Seasonings. My chicken ramen was made with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Carrots. Sliced into thin strips into and a half to three inches long.
- Bell Pepper and Green Pepper. The seeds should be removed and the peppers should also be Sliced into thin strips into and a half to three inches long..
- Broth. Chicken broth or water can be used.
- Soy Sauce. Added for flavor.
- Ramen. Broken down into smaller pieces. You will not need the broth packet for this recipe.
How to make Instant Pot Ramen with Chicken
Yields 4 servings)
Prep time 15 minutes
Cook time 25 minutes
Step One: cook the chicken.
- Add the oil to the instant pot and set the pot to saute.
- When the pot is ready, add the chicken along with the seasonings.
- Cook the chicken until it is no longer pink, stirring as needed ( about three to four minutes).
Expert Tip👉 It is always a good idea to follow the directions provided by the manufacturer of your pressure cooker or instant pot. This is especially true when it comes to operating as described in this recipe.
Step Two: add the remaining ingredients to the pot.
- Once the chicken has fully cooked you can add the vegetables to the pot and saute for another five minutes.
- Next, stir in the chicken broth along with the soy sauce. Then add the ramen noodles to the pot, making sure that the noodles are covered with the liquid.
- Seal the lid and the pressure valve and then cool on high pressure for eight minutes.
Step Three: finish making the chicken and ramen.
After the ingredients have cooked for eight minutes, quick release the pressure and remove the lid. Then break up the noodles using a large fork or tongs, and toss the ingredients together before serving.
