Step Two: mix the ingredients.
- In mixing bowl, with a mixer outfitted with a whisk attachment, whisk the heavy cream until soft peaks just begin to form. Do not oven whisk to the point of firm peaks.
- Stir in the condensed milk, peppermint and vanilla extracts, and food color gel until just combined.
- Lastly, fold in the crushed peppermint candy.
Step Three: finish making the ice cream.
Transfer the ingredients to a loaf pan and cover with plastic or similar wrap. The place the loaf pan into the freezer for at least six hours, preferably overnight.
