This is one of those party recipes that about everyone can agree on!

What is Everything Bagel Seasoning?
Everything bagel, aka everything but the bagel, seasoning is a basic seasoning that has been inspired by 'everything bagels'. Everything bagels commonly are the bagels that are topped with all of the bakery's available seasonings (often leftovers from making other bagels).
What does everything bagel taste like?
Most everything bagel seasonings have sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried onion, dried garlic, and salt. Sometimes the seasoning will have black pepper, red pepper, or similar seasonings as well.
Tips for making the best cheese ball.
The trick to making a perfect cheese ball is to have your base, that is cream cheese, softened to room temperature. This will help the other ingredients blend in perfectly and evenly.

- Shredded cheddar cheese is also used in this recipe. Make sure that your cheddar cheese is fresh for the best possible taste.
- It is important that your cheese ball is firm before rolling it in the topping. This cheese ball should be refrigerated for at least four hours for best results.
- When you are forming the ball itself, it is easiest to first place the combined ingredients in plastic wrap. Then you can use your hands to form the cheese ball with the plastic between your hands and the ingredients.

- Cream Cheese. Use a full fat cream cheese for best results. The cream cheese should be softened to room temperature so that it can be easily blended with the other ingredients.
- Cheddar Cheese. Use shredded or grated or even both depending on how much of a cheese presence you want in your cheese ball. Also, any aging is okay- I prefer something sharp for a nice flavor balance.
- Ranch Seasoning. This is added for an extra flavor flair. .
- Everything Bagel Seasoning This is basically a combination of dried minced garlic and onion with sesame and poppy seeds and salt.
- For decorating the cheeseball like mine- black olives, cherry tomato, and pretzel twists.
Expert Tip👉 To make a cheese ball that is easier to spread, you can add up to a half cup of sour cream to the cheese mixture.
How to make Everything Bagel Cheese Ball.
Prep Time: 10 minutes.
Chill Time: 4 hours.
Servings: 8.
Step One: prepare.
- Allow the cream cheese to soften to room temperature.
- Gather your ingredients.
- Line a bowl with plastic wrap that extends over the sides of the bowl.
Step Two: Combine the ingredients.
- In a large bowl, beat or mash the cream cheese to soften it up.
- Add the cheese along with the ranch seasonings to the bowl and blend until combined.
- Transfer the ingredients to the plastic lined ball and then use the plastic wrap as needed to press the ingredients into a ball shape in the bowl.
- Use the extended plastic to seal the ball by twisting the ends to make the plastic wrap airtight (if you run out of plastic simply add another piece).
- Refrigerate the cheeseball until set, at least three to four hours or as long as overnight.
Expert Tip If you want a smoother cheese ball, you can use a food processor or blender to cream the cheese together.
Step Three: prepare the cheeseball for serving.
- About a half hour before serving the cheeseball, remove it from the refrigerator and remove the plastic wrap.
- Place the everything seasoning in a shallow bowl. Then roll the cheese ball in the seasoning until it is fully covered.
- Place the covered cheese ball on a serving plate or board and add the pretzels (ears), olives (eyes), and tomato (nose).
Expert Tip👉 Leftovers should be well wrapped and refrigerated. If properly stored, leftovers should keep for about four to five days. You will need to let it get to room temperature to soften it up again. This recipe does not freeze well.
