The ingredients are basic ingredients that can often be found in most kitchens.You can adjust the seasonings to your needs.
- Lasagna. The amount that you will need will depend in the size of the noodle and the size of your pan. Your noodles should be cooked according to the directions on the packaging. For sturdier noodles, cook yours al dente.
- Ground Beef. Your ground beef should be cooked and drained of most of the fat. You can omit the ground beef or use and alternative.
- Oil. This is used to saute the sauce ingredients with.
- Onion and Garlic. The onion should be diced small and the garlic should be minced or chopped.
- Crushed Tomatoes and Tomato Paste. Canned crushed tomatoes works great in this recipe.
- Ricotta, Parmesan, and Ricotta cheeses. These are standard kind of cheese used to make lasagna.
- Egg. This is added for the filling structure.
- Seasonings as desired. My lasagna was seasoned with basil, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Tips for making the best bundt pan lasagna.
When selecting a bundt pan, select one the is large enough to hold the noodles so that you do not have to cut or shape the noodles to make them fit. I also like to use a pan that does not have an intricate design as that can make it more difficult to clean.

- While I have not tried this in this recipe, there are lasagna known as 'oven safe lasagna.' Oven safe lasagna means that the noodles do not need to be cooked before using them in a recipe.
- Do you have to use a bundt style pan to make this recipe? Nah. You can easily make this in a standard baking dish (9 X 13 for example).
- Make this recipe ahead of time. You can assemble the ingredients and then refrigerate the pan filled ingredients until you are ready to bake it.
- Do you have to have to use ground beef in this recipe? You can sub in an alternative such as cooked ground turkey. Or, instead of meat, you can use beans or spinach (amounts and prep can vary).
How to make bundt cake pan lasagna.
Prep: 20 minutes .
Bake:30 minutes.
Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
- Cook the beef until browned if it has not been cooked yet. Let some of the excess fat drain by placing the cooked beef on a stack of paper towels or similar item while you make the sauce.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet on medium heat for one minute then add the chopped onion and garlic to the pan and saute until the onion is translucent (about two minutes).
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and seasonings. Turn the heat down to low medium and simmer the sauce for up to 20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- To make the cheesy filling, in a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, and grated Parmesan cheese. You can then mix the ingredients well until they are smooth and combined.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease your bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray or with a light coating of oil.
- Assemble the ingredients in layers as described in the printable instructions below.
- Place the bundt pan in your preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges are golden brown.
- Lastly, let the lasagna set before serving.
Expert Tip 👉 Try running a butter knife around the edges of the set lasagna before unmolding to gently loosen the edges if needed. To unmold the lasagna simply place a large plate or similar item on top of the lasagna and then flip the lasagna over on to the plate.
How to store leftover lasagna.
Once the lasagna has been fully cooled, you can place it into an airtight container or individual sized serving containers. If properly stored and refrigerated, this lasagna should keep for up to three days or frozen for up to a few months.

- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the meat sauce. Trim any noodles that overhang the sides of the bundt pan.
- Place the half of the cut noodles over the cheese. Continue layering in the following order: ricotta mixture, meat sauce, mozzarella cheese, and trimmed noodles. Fold the edges of the noodles over the top.
- Finish with the remaining meat sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Place the bundt pan in your preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges are golden brown. Lastly, let the lasagna set before serving.
