Materials needed to make a clay pot acorn.

    • Terra Cotta Clay Pot. My acorn was made with a 3.5” pot.
    • Clay Pot Saucer. Get one that fits your clay pot. My pot uses a three inch saucer.
    • Googly Eyes. Also known as Wiggly Eyes.
    • Wooden Stems. These are small round pieces of a tree branch that have been cut down. You can purchase this or cut down your own.
    • Jute Twine. This gets tied on to the stem on top of the acorn. While the jute looks more 'fallish' a ribbon could alternatively do the job.
    • Craft Paint – Light Brown, Dark Brown, Pink
    • Equipment Needed: paint brush (flat and detail), scissors, glue gun with sticks, black market, and pencil's eraser (new pencil is best).

Expert Tip 👉 Many of these materials can be found at a dollar store or discount store.
