    1. Like with most casseroles, prepping the baking dish for nonstick is a really good idea for an easier clean up.
    2. My gnocchi bake was made in a baking pan. You can use a baking dish to make this recipe but, the baking time can differ so keep an eye on the casserole while it is baking.
    3. Cheese covered casseroles often brown fast on top. To prevent this from happening we are using aluminum foil to form a loose tent over the casserole. If your cheese does not brown to your liking you can carefully broil it for a couple of minutes.
    4. You casserole is done baking when when it is bubbling on top and the gnocchi can easily be poked with a skewer or fork.
    5. Adding additional common pizza cheeses can also be added for more flavor.
    6. You can top this casserole with additional seasonings or other toppings before serving.

    Prep Time: 10 minutes .
    Bake Time : 25 minutes .

    1. Get your ingredients ready as needed. This includes precooking the gnocchi according to the directions on the packaging.
    2. Preheat your oven to 350 and prep your baking dish or pan well for nonstick.
    3. Place your gnocchi into the bottom of the baking dish/pan then pour the sauce over it so that all of the gnocchi is covered with sauce.
    4. Add any additional ingredients and then top the ingredients with your cheese.
    5. Loosely cover the casserole with aluminum foil and then place the casserole into the oven.
    6. Bake the gnocchi pizza for 20 minutes and then carefully remove the foil.
    7. Continue to bake until the ingredients become bubbly
    8. Let the casserole sit for five minutes to set a bit before serving.
