Tips for making the best cake mix cookies.
I like to use a 'super moist' cake mix for these cookies. This helps the cookies avoid drying out too much in the oven. You can use the chocolate cake mix of your choice.
More helpful tips for you.
- The cookie dough should be thick and dark when combining the ingredients together. If your cookie dough seems to be too thin to work with, try placing it into the refrigerator for about 10 minutes. This will help make the cookie dough easier to work with.
- After placing the cake mix into the mixing bowl, use a whisk to give the dry mix a quick stir. This will help break up any lumps that are usually present in cake mix.
- Optional add-ins for this recipe include caramel chips, nuts, or using a yellow or white cake mix.

How to store cake mix cookies.
Once your cookies have fully cooled they can be stored in an airtight container. When properly stored, the cookies should keep for about two weeks. Freezing these cookies can have an affect on the pretzels.
