What makes Avalanche cookie so good?

Avalanche cookies are good because they have the perfect combination of crispy, chewy, and creamy textures along with peanut butter and two kinds of chocolate chips.

I like that this is pretty much a fool-proof recipe that kids can help in making.

Tips for making the best Avalanche Cookies

Using fresh ingredients is essential to the success of this recipe. Also, use good quality chocolate chips (white and mini) for the best flavor.

    More helpful tips for you.

    1. The first step (melting) can be done using the double boiler method. Just make sure that you are stirring constantly for a smooth melt.
    2. The melted ingredients should be sufficiently cooled down before adding them to the other ingredients. If these ingredients are too warm you can risk melting the marshmallows and chocolate chips.
    3. Take your cookies up a notch. You can add sprinkles on top, stir in coconut or nuts, or even drizzle melted chocolate over your cookies.

    How to store Avalanche Cookies.

Once the cookies have fully set, they can be stored at room temperature for up to four days. I would not refrigerate the cookies as doing so will make them less chewy. You can however freeze them in an air tight container for up to three months (let them thaw at room temperature). .
