What you need to make Avalanche Cookies.
- Peanut Butter. Creamy peanut butter works best in this recipe.
- White Chocolate Chips and Miniature Chocolate Chips.
- Rice Krispie Cereal. You can use a similar 'rice' cereal.
- Miniature Marshmallows.

How to make Easy No Bake Avalanche Cookies
Prep Time: 15 minutes .
Servings: 24 .
How to Serve: Serve as is with your favorite beverage.
Notes: You will need a microwave safe bowl and a large mixing bowl.
- Microwave. In a microwave safe bowl heat together the white chocolate chips and peanut butter, stopping to stir every 30 seconds, until melted. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature while you move on to the next step.
- Cereal. Place the cereal into a large mixing bowl. Add the mini marshmallows and half of the chocolate chips to the bowl and toss the ingredients.
- Combine. Add the cooled ingredients from the first step over the ingredients in the large mixing bowl. Toss the ingredients until well combined.
- Drop. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Then use a small cookie scoop to scoop out the cookies and place the cookies on to your prepared baking sheet.
- Set. Place the cookie sheet with the cookies into your refrigerator to set (about an hour).

Tips for making the best Avalanche Cookies
Using fresh ingredients is essential to the success of this recipe. Also, use good quality chocolate chips (white and mini) for the best flavor.

- The first step (melting) can be done using the double boiler method. Just make sure that you are stirring constantly for a smooth melt.
- The melted ingredients should be sufficiently cooled down before adding them to the other ingredients. If these ingredients are too warm you can risk melting the marshmallows and chocolate chips.
- Take your cookies up a notch. You can add sprinkles on top, stir in coconut or nuts, or even drizzle melted chocolate over your cookies.

How to store Avalanche Cookies.
Once the cookies have fully set, they can be stored at room temperature for up to four days. I would not refrigerate the cookies as doing so will make them less chewy. You can however freeze them in an air tight container for up to three months (let them thaw at room temperature). .
