- Prepare your baking sheets for nonstick. Parchment paper or a baking mat work well in this recipe.

Step Two: mix your ingredients.
- In a medium bowl, use a whisk to combine together the flour and the baking soda.
- Next, in a large mixing bowl beat together the butter with both sugar until smooth and creamy (five to six minutes).
- When the mixture is creamy you can add the eggs one at a time and mix gently between the addition. Then, stir in the vanilla.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl with then stir in the dry ingredients from the first bowl and mix until just combined.
